Liderazgo y competencias directivas en época de crisis

Abstract

En la actualidad se ha reabierto el debate sobre el liderazgo organizacional y sobre el perfil que debe poseer un directivo. Frente a las tradicionales propuestas de los rasgos, los roles y los estilos de dirección, ahora se hace referencia a las competencias que el líder debe desarrollar. Las competencias directivas se conciben como un conjunto integrado por “saberes”, “saber hacer” y “saber ser y estar”, que hacen posible un desempeño adecuado en un contexto determinado. El presente artículo constituye una revisión de las aportaciones tradicionales sobre el liderazgo y presenta las propuestas recientes sobre las competencias del líder, algo verdaderamente importante en épocas de crisis.
