La Función Social De La Propiedad Privada Y Los Incentivos De Agentes Económicos En El Socialismo Del Siglo Xxi

Abstract

Los gobiernos Socialistas del Siglo XXI hablan de promover una revolución de la propiedad, en la cual la propiedad privada debe cumplir una función social. Este artículo discute este tema definiendo primeramente la noción de la propiedad privada bajo paradigmas liberales, socialistas y neo-socialistas y así presenta una crítica económica de las propuestas de los nuevos socialistas. Esta crítica es simplemente basada en los incentivos que los agentes económicos pueden tener cuando consideran tomar decisiones optimas sobre cuanto trabajar y cuántos hijos tener. El artículo concluye que esta política cambiara los incentivos de los agentes económicos para que ellos consideren tener más hijos y trabajar menos. Las implicaciones macroeconomías de esto pueden ser muy graves y resultar en el uso exhaustivo de los recursos disponibles para los gobierno.
