Los Encadenamientos Industriales Y Formación De Cluster Como Modelo De Desarrollo Endógeno

Abstract

El documento trata del estudio de la naturaleza de las relaciones de los agentes que participan en los encadenamientos industriales en torno a un área industrial o producto específico, así como de los efectos positivos y las externalidades que se generan en este proceso. De allí que surge el interés de describir los resultados que se han obtenido en diversas lugares del mundo al plantear iniciativas como esta. En algunos países con abundante éxito y en otros con no tan buenos resultados, así, muchos de los clusters encontrados en la región son bastante débiles y no corresponden al “ideal” descrito en los libros de texto. El entorno –especialmente en zonas rurales- es poco propicio para su desarrollo. Con la apertura y la globalización, se estarían además resquebrajando varios de los encadenamientos existentes con las PyMEs.
