Clusters: Una Alternativa Para El Desarrollo Regional De Pequeñas Economías

Abstract

El concepto de clusters retoma importancia a partir de la exposición hecha por Michael Porter, sin embargo las bases teóricas del planteamiento del encadenamiento productivo se hallan en la teoría de la localización de W. Chistaller, la teoría de los distritos industriales de A Waber, la teoría de los polos industriales de F. Perroux, la teoría de los encadenamientos hacia delante y hacia atrás de A. Hirschman, entre otros. El presente ensayo propone que los factores determinantes de la competitividad sistemática explícito en el concepto de clusters es importante para el desarrollo económico regional de pequeñas economías.
