Percepção de professores sob o abuso sexual na infância

Abstract

O objetivo desta pesquisa foi descrever se professores da rede municipal de ensino de Parintins, Amazonas, Brasil, conseguem identificar, por meio de comportamento, se alunos estão sendo abusados sexualmente. Este estudo engendra-se como transversal com abordagem qualiquantitativa. A coleta de dados ocorreu por meio de um questionário semiestruturado contendo questões sociodemográficas e específicas direcionado a vinte participantes. Os dados encontrados evidenciam que a maioria dos docentes menciona parcialmente as características comportamentais de acordo com a literatura, mas ante a realidade com a criança, não conseguem ter a percepção correta sobre a problemática. Conclui-se a carência de professores informados quanto ao abuso sexual infantil. Nota-se um conhecimento raso sobre a temática, o que faz com que tenham dificuldades em reconhecer uma criança que esteja sendo supostamente vítima de abuso.
