La importancia del posicionamiento de los establecimientos turísticos en internet

Abstract

Internet es una tecnología muy dinámica, que gracias a su continuo desarrollo está pasando por muchas etapas, por lo que se debe centrar en los avances más recientes de Internet aplicado en los establecimientos turísticos. Para el sector turístico, cuya clave es dar servicios a personas, el que estas personas usen internet cada vez más en la organización de sus viajes, origina que la gestión empresarial estará cada vez más influenciada por el uso que hagan de la tecnología e Internet y es necesario conocer y gestionar adecuadamente un medio de forma que permita captar nuevos clientes y fidelizar a los clientes actuales. Los factores tradicionales de éxito en el sector, ya no resultan tan competitivos y el incremento de los costes entre otros aspectos afecta directamente a la rentabilidad, por lo que saber llegar a la clientela con nuevos hábitos de compra (de reserva en el caso de los hoteles) se hace imprescindible para el éxito de un negocio.
