Algumas perpectivas culturais na cidade do Rio de Janeiro como sede do vice-reino de Portugal

Abstract

No século XVIII, o Rio de Janeiro se tornou sede do vice-reino português, com isso, um novo modo de pensar e outros tipos de sociabilidade começaram a fazer parte do cotidiano. Objetiva-se analisar algumas perspectivas culturais implementadas enquanto fatores de uma dinâmica eminente. A metodologia aplicada foi a análise comparativa entre aspectos sociais, culturais e urbanos - hábitos, artes, arquitetura e literatura -, fundamentados na narrativa de viajante. Tais transformações, refletiram uma nova imagem de urbanidade para a cidade, fomentando outra vivência para as pessoas.
