Convergências entre indicadores de desenvolvimento local, índice de desenvolvimento humano e índice de Gini

Abstract

O processo de desenvolvimento pode ser mensurado por inúmeras métricas e formas, contudo, as medidas mais utilizadas na literatura são controversas e complementares. O presente artigo elaborou um quadro conceitual-analítico de três indicadores e comparou a convergência das abordagens que atribuem o desenvolvimento como arcabouço central da qualidade de vida, da liberdade e do protagonismo da sociedade. Dois indicadores são reconhecidos na literatura, o IDH e o à ndice de GINI, e foram inseridos alguns indicadores da teoria do Desenvolvimento Local, estes ainda em construção e com uma abordagem diferente das tradicionais. A análise comparativa revelou que todos os indicadores são convergentes entre si e podem contribuir positiva ou negativamente para um melhor desenvolvimento local, uma melhoria no índice de desenvolvimento humano e uma redução do índice de Gini.
