Os prenúncios de uma nova ordem: reflexões sobre a década de 1920 e a obra de Macunaíma

Abstract

Este artigo procura refletir sobre a sociedade brasileira da época, contextualizado na Semana da Arte Moderna de 1922 e na obra Macunaíma de Mário de Andrade. A busca por traços da realidade da sociedade no livro Macunaíma surge a seguinte questão: de que forma a obra Macunaíma reflete, em seus traços irônicos, a sociedade da década de 1920? Primeiramente buscar-se-á uma contextualização sobre a Semana da Arte Moderna e após refletir-se-á sobre aspectos irônicos encontrados no livro, buscando responder a questão proposta neste artigo.
