Análisis de la estratificación de niveles socioeconómicos de Ecuador

Abstract

La presente investigación pretende analizar la medición de los estratos socioeconómicos de Ecuador, por medio del modelo de Graffar el cual fue modificado por Méndez Castellano en el año 1994, para el estudio ha sido necesario incorporar variables adicionales, debido a que las principales no estarían representando la realidad del Ecuador. Los datos utilizados fueron de la encuesta de estratificación realizada por el INEC en el año 2011. Las principales conclusiones son que a partir de la incorporación de variables como los gastos representativos en el hogar, se mostraron altamente significativas, así mismo el tipo de la vivienda, los servicios y los bienes de posesión.
