Semblanzas de las Guerras por la Independencia en Moa, una mirada desde la Historia Local

Abstract

La visión global que se tiene de las guerras por la independencia de Cuba en la segunda mitad del siglo XIX, han ido borrando las fascinantes pequeñas historia de la localidades de nuestro país, a pesar del esfuerzo que han hecho historiadores y autoridades guberidntales por rescatar estas historias aún enfrentamos problemas desde el orden metodológico e historiográfico que han impedido que se materialice este hermoso proyecto. El siguiente trabajo es una pequeña contribución a la historia nacional desde la Guerras por la independencia desde una visión local, principalmente de una localidad que se ha caracterizado por su renglón económico fundamental, la minería, pero que sin embargo cuenta con pequeñas historias sumergidas. Sin grandes pretensiones es lo que este modesto trabaja persigue. Acercarnos a las guerras independentistas desde la historia local de un municipio minero.
