El impacto del uso de la tierra desordenada y riesgos a la calidad ambiental de la playa del Atalaia, costa amazónica, Brasil

Abstract

La búsqueda de la belleza y el ocio proporcionado por las playas oceánicas viene aumentando sustancialmente a lo largo de las últimas décadas En este contexto, estudiar los principales problemas ambientales derivados de la ocupación desordenada en la Praia do Atalaia, es el principal objetivo de este trabajo. El estudio fue realizado a partir de visitas técnicas al local, levantamiento fotográfico e investigación bibliográfica. Atalaia, principal punto turístico del estado de Pará, viene sufriendo con el crecimiento inmobiliario sin infraestructura y saneamiento básico que pretenden conservar el espacio natural. Este hecho viene resultando en contaminación bacteriológica del suelo, recursos hídricos, poniendo en riesgo tanto los recursos naturales de la playa como la salud de sus usuarios.
