Valor patrimonial y turístico de la pintura de Tigua, provincia de Cotopaxi, cantón de Pujilí, Ecuador

Abstract

Las pinturas de Tigua son un arte símbolo, reflejo de la cultura de las comunidades indígenas ecuatorianos. A pedido del Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Municipal del Cantón Pujilí, necesitados de realizar una segunda publicación acerca de los pintores de Tigua se realizó esta investigación con el objetivo de analizar el valor patrimonial y turístico de la pintura de Tigua. El método de investigación aplicado fue deductivo, así como técnicas e instrumentos tales como el análisis de las fuentes bibliográficas, la observación y la entrevista. La población definida son los pintores de la comunidad de Tigua. Y la muestra son los pintores ubicados en los talleres - galería. Los resultados apuntan a que las pinturas de Tigua contienen elementos patrimoniales y turísticos. El reto para la comunidad está en mantener el equilibrio entre los aspectos positivos del turismo cultural y la exigencia de preservar y difundir los valores patrimoniales de la región.
