Abstract

O artigo aborda a trajetória da literatura árabe até sua fusão com a cultura dos povos da Península Ibérica, evidenciando as características da poética árabe, manifestadas pela oralidade, tradição e performance. Assinala, ainda, que a construção estética dos poemas-cantigas, denominados Zejéis, generosos em suas rimas e em suas composições rítmicas, é imprescindível para a compreensão das imagens simbólicas contidas na produção poética. O estudo detém-se sobre os Zejéis números dez e oitenta, de Ibn Qzman.
