Abstract

Este es el primer libro de cuentos del escritor oaxaqueño Israel G. Castro, editado en noviembre de 2016 por el STUNAM, comienza su incursión en el mundo de la literatura con el pie derecho, porque la edición de texto que hoy nos presenta fue muy bien cuidada en todos los aspectos a considerar en todo trabajo publicable. Los diecisiete relatos que componen la obra, Entre la Carne y los Huesos, nos trasportan a una serie de estados de ánimo muy encontrados cuando el autor induce a los lectores a espacios imaginarios realistas que tienden a confrontar pasiones, desengaños, tristezas, ansiedades, melancolías, incertidumbre y dilemas que viven cada uno de los personajes de estas breves narraciones, situaciones reales y proyectivas que cada lector puede ir identificando a lo largo de la obra.
