Abstract

La participación comunitaria es un derecho constitucional de todos los venezolanos, la misma permite fortalecer el poder popular en las comunidades coadyuvando en su desarrollo local. La participación como instrumento legal que genera profundos cambios socioeconómicos a la nación les garantiza a todos los venezolanos su participación protagónica en los asuntos públicos de su país. Además, es necesario someter a estudio las barreras de la participación que durante muchas décadas le ha creado daño al pueblo venezolano, rompiendo con el viejo paradigma, para que todos participen y sean protagonistas de su propio proceso de transformación. También, las bondades de la participación fundan una actitud positiva, donde todos se van involucrando en las políticas públicas y programas sociales de sus comunidades.
