Abstract

O presente artigo está arquitetado em duas seções, estruturados como atos de uma ópera, dedicados à análise dos conceitos de trabalho, escravidão e escravização contemporânea, à baila da historiografia brasileira recente. Com o intento de contribuir para o alargamento dos estudos e reflexões acerca da escravização contemporânea. Neste contexto, realizamos um debate historiográfico, de modo a cotejar os conceitos de trabalho, trabalho escravo e escravização contemporânea em diferentes contextos, esquadrinhando-os. Propondo assim, forjar um instrumental teórico de reflexão e aprofundamento a estudos futuros.
