Abstract

O objetivo deste estudo é verificar e analisar os discursos das matérias sobre a seleção brasileira de futebol feminino publicadas no caderno de esporte e no caderno especial Londres, da Folha de S. Paulo, em 2012, ano de realização dos Jogos Olímpicos de Londres. Para tanto, optou-se pela adoção dos procedimentos da metodologia denominada Análise de Conteúdo, pois ela direciona o pesquisador na análise dos diversos tipos de discursos, dentre eles o jornalístico. Os discursos das publicações dos cadernos mencionados não expuseram intenções preconceituosas ou tendenciosas referentes ao futebol feminino e as suas jogadoras.
