Abstract

O presente artigo discute sobre a participação da família no desenvolvimento social das crianças e adolescentes atendidas no Centro de Referência da Assistência Social CRAS/PAIF núcleo Paulo Corrêa no Município de Parintins, Estado do Amazonas. Constitui-se parte uma pesquisa realizada no ano de 2014 com profissionais e mulheres-mães beneficiárias dos serviços socioassistenciais desenvolvidos no CRAS, cuja base de investigação pautou-se na abordagem qualitativa. Os resultados apontam fragilidades na operacionalização dos serviços, bem como pouca participação das famílias neste processo, embora fique notório a fundamental importância que tem a família no desenvolvimento social de crianças e adolescentes.
