ORGANIZAÇÃO SOCIOPOLà TICA NA CONJUNTURA CONTEMPORÂNEA: a participação social dos moradores na cidade de Parintins-AM

Abstract

O objetivo deste artigo é analisar as formas de organização sociopolítica e a participação social dos moradores residentes no bairro Paulo Corrêa na cidade de Parintins, Estado do Amazonas, sinalizando a importância desta organização para o acesso às políticas públicas. Constitui-se parte de uma pesquisa realizada no ano de 2014 com 190 moradores e 03 representantes da Associação Comunitária do referido bairro, cuja base de investigação pautou-se nas abordagens quantitativa e qualitativa com uso de questionários e aplicação de entrevistas semiestruturadas. Os resultados apontam uma baixa participação dos moradores nas organizações sociais locais o que implica na melhoria dos serviços públicos e na qualidade de vida das famílias.
