Abstract

Este trabajo parte de la construcción de un estructura conceptual de la cultura periodística, para pasar luego al estudio de la objetividad y el rol de los medios de comunicación pertenecientes a las grandes corporaciones, y posteriormente a la forma cómo inducen la opinión del ciudadano e influyen sobre las decisiones gubernamentales; para ello se ha recurrido a la revisión crítica de la bibliografía especializada y a la opinión de académicos expertos.
