Abstract

Esse artigo busca contribuir para a investigação de questões relativas a continuidade intensificada e ao estilo cinematográfico, realizando uma análise da encenação do filme Amantes (2008), dirigido por James Gray. Parte-se da revisão teórica acerca do estilo cinematográfico e da noção de continuidade intensificada, como definida por David Bordwell (2013), a fim de relacionar essa poética com o estilo de James Gray, evidenciado aqui através da análise de uma cena representativa do filme Amantes.
