Abstract

Publicamos la tercera parte de la actividad llevada a cabo por Joan Lluhí i Vallescà y su equipo de colaboradores catalanes durante la etapa que estuvo al frente del Ministerio de Trabajo, Sanidad y Previsión desde el 13 de mayo al 4 de septiembre de 1936, puesto en el que substituyó al malagueño profesor de Derecho Romano de la Universidad Central Enrique Ramos Ramos. Lluhí, abogado, tuvo una trayectoria reconocida como catalanista de combate, fue diputado de Esquerra Republicana de Catalunya, consejero de la Generalitat y Jefe del Consejo ejecutivo de la propia Generalitat de Cataluña, puesto del dimitió por sus discrepancias con Francesc Macià, en lo que se denominó el grupo salido de L’Opinió, del que formaban parte Antoni Xirau i Palau, Josep Tarradellas i Joan y Pere Comas, entre otros. A lo largo de las misivas que aquí se publican desfilan los nombres de un conjunto variopinto de personajes del relieve de Juan José Cremades, Mariano Ruiz Funes, Leandro Carro, José Giral, Amós Salvador, Eduardo Cortés, Jesús Salazar Ruiz, Lluís Companys, Miguel de San Andrés, Amós Ruiz Lecina, José Calviño Domínguez, Lluís Nicolau d’Olwer, Federico Salmón Amorín y otros.
