Abstract

Este trabalho faz uma análise sobre os números primos, colocando-os como os átomos da Matemática. Utilizou-se uma pesquisa bibliográfica, em livros, revistas, sites e artigos, no qual busca-se conhecer mais sobre os números primos. Os objetivos da pesquisa são mostrar as diversas possibilidades de trabalhar os números primos, avaliar o que foi estudado sobre eles ao longo da história e debruçar sobre as suas aplicações. A pesquisa vai de conceitos simples da matemática até ideias mais abstratas e complexas.
