El desarrollo de la competencia icónica en la formación inicial de los estudiantes de la carrera licenciatura en educación español literatura

Abstract

El presente artículo presenta algunas reflexiones derivadas de una tesis doctoral en progreso sobre el desarrollo de la competencia icónica como una de las subcompetencias necesarias para el logro de la competencia comunicativa, y su incidencia en la formación inicial del profesional de la carrera Licenciatura en Educación Español Literatura. El estudio de la imagen adquiere un interés más creciente en el nuevo milenio, puesto que los medios de comunicación audiovisuales imponen cada vez más su dominio enunciativo, por lo que será necesario impartir una educación en los lenguajes artísticos, icónico-verbales e incluso, en la estética y en la axiología subyacentes en los mass-media. Dicha intervención educativa deberá tener como objetivo la formación de educandos capacitados para enfrentar la diversidad de códigos y lenguajes para la adquisición de la competencia comunicativa.
