Contribución innovadora de la educación popular a la capacitación de actores del desarrollo local

Abstract

El insuficiente conocimiento sobre la concepción político pedagógica de la Educación Popular y sus contribuciones para transformar las prácticas tradicionales vinculadas a la capacitación de actores del desarrollo local, limita la implementación de su metodología en los espacios de capacitación a actores del desarrollo local. Teóricamente se aspira a sistematizar la concepción y metodología de la Educación Popular en los procesos de formación de capacidades. Su diseño aporta una estructura que posibilita fortalecer posiciones políticas, genera interacciones entre los participantes, momentos de reflexión, construcción teórica y devolución plenaria, así como sus representaciones sobre esta actividad. En la práctica ayuda a la producción de nuevas imágenes de la ciencia y la tecnología como procesos sociales. Muestra, además, sus proyecciones educativas, tanto en políticas públicas como en el campo académico. Múltiples han sido los encuentros desarrollados desde estas miradas.
