Sitio web “indagación documental y bibliográfica†: Una herramienta para los investigadores

Abstract

La Sociedad de la información y del conocimiento que irrumpe al fragor de la revolución científico-técnica y las tecnologías de la información y las comunicaciones (TIC), ha desencadenado profundas transformaciones que se ponen de manifiesto en el crecimiento exponencial del saber, su rápida obsolescencia y la disminución de los plazos de introducción de los descubrimientos e innovaciones que involucra a todos los profesionales e instituciones de la sociedad condicionadas por el desarrollo científico técnico actual por lo que las investigaciones que se realizan en las diferentes áreas del conocimiento contribuyen a poner de manifiesto su evolución y desarrollo e inciden en el progreso del conocimiento científico y de la sociedad. Teniendo en cuenta que entre las exigencias que debe acometer la Educación Superior se encuentra la investigación científica; es necesario el desarrollo de profesionales con una cultura infotecnológica que les permita desenvolverse en las actuales condiciones de la sociedad actual; por lo que resulta evidente la necesidad de potenciar la indagación documental y bibliográfica en la Investigación Educativa, para lo cual se elaboró el Sitio Web “Indagación documental y bibliográfica†, el cual ofrece informaciones importantes para investigadores.
