Abstract

La temática que aborda esta investigación constituye uno de los retos que asume el contexto educativo en la actualidad, y en especial las universidades que forman educadores: la motivación hacia la lectura de sus estudiantes. El trabajo tiene dentro de sus objetivos esenciales valorar la importancia que para la Antropología de la Educación posee el tratamiento de la lectura desde el proceso docente educativo, sus logros y deficiencias. De igual forma, se reflexiona acerca de los criterios realizados por diversos autores que han analizado esta problemática. El estudio sirvió de sustento para la concepción de diferentes acciones que pueden contribuir al fomento de los hábitos de lectura en el ámbito universitario.
