Abstract

El papel del tutor en los entornos virtuales es indispensable para desarrollar Y potenciar el aprendizaje de los estudiantes, de ahí la trascendencia de que el perfil docente sea apropiado para el ejercicio de sus funciones y la importancia de la constante actualización docente que permita el entrenamiento de las competencias y habilidades que se buscan impulsar en una mediación académica eficaz en los ambientes virtuales. Este trabajo analiza el papel del tutor virtual y sus principales retos en la acción tutorial durante el diseño y progreso de cursos en línea especialmente en la tutoría.
