Garantía de la calidad universitaria y rendición de cuentas

Abstract

En este artículo se estudia, en el ámbito de las Universidades, la rendición de cuentas sobre calidad universitaria, como principal antecedente en relación con la rendición de cuentas sobre aspectos cualitativos, dado que se trata de un sistema de evaluación y control consolidado en todas las Universidades del mundo. Desde la óptica de la rendición de cuentas en el marco universitario español, se han reconocido dos corrientes informativas destacables, además de la información que se deriva del proceso de gestión y acreditación de la calidad, y son la presentación de la información contable anual y la revelación de la información en materia de Responsabilidad Social Universitaria. Por ello, en primer lugar se analizan estas dos corrientes informativas, para posteriormente desarrollar, la informativa relativa a la calidad universitaria.
