Abstract

Este trabajo expone la manera en que la Escuela de Arquitectura, de la Universidad del Azuay en Cuenca, aborda, a través de los proyectos de fin de carrera, el desarrollo de nuevas propuestas urbano-arquitectónicas, insertadas en contextos patrimoniales. Se trabaja, sobre todo, en temas de densificación, combinados con equipamientos y espacio público, mirando al patrimonio como una oportunidad para construir ciudades más sustentables, y no como un museo estático para la contemplación.
