Abstract

Within the valuation of Science and Technology (S+T) social impact, three dimensions are specially relevant for analysis, in the modern democratic societies: Public perception, citizen participation, and S+T culture. Innovation is an economic and political subject, where the State and private subjects will manifest growing participation formulas, the next years. This means a change, for the innovation, not being by now a primary factor in the State policy, gets transformed into a leading item for obtaining added value. Economic system has a direct relation to the educational system, for public policies with underlaying economic teachings and ideologies, get placed to educational policies. Education has a paramount role for economic development and cultural evolution. All this translate into welfare, efficiency and growing opportunities. Harmonization and synchronization between education and economy promote professional and academic development and this moves to growing benefits, boosting and stimulating economic growth.
