Rendimientos económicos de la escolaridad: una aplicación de la región centílica

Abstract

Se estiman los rendimientos de la escolaridad mediante un método estadístico robusto que reporta estimaciones en diferentes puntos de la distribución de ingresos. De esta forma, se obtienen estimaciones menos sesgadas que las proveídas mediante métodos estadísticos normales. Las estimaciones son hechas con base en una muestra de la Encuesta Ingreso Gasto de los Hogares en México de 1998.
