Esquemas de financiamiento para el sector agrícola tecnificado y de alto valor agregado

Abstract

La importancia del sector hortícola y frutícola en la generación de empleo, la derrama económica en el uso de insumos y la generación de divisas son aspectos innegables de las bondades que ha traído el desarrollo de estos sectores. Sin embargo, el sentir de los productores, en especial los pequeños y medianos, es que el acceso al financiamiento es muy limitado. Tras realizar un trabajo de investigación entre oferentes y demandantes del crédito y analizar los esquemas de financiamiento exitosos en otros sectores, el presente trabajo diseña un programa de financiamiento más propicio: Un modelo que favorezca el que la horticultura pueda tener acceso a financiamiento suficiente y oportuno, a través de la organización de productores, la constitución de garantías suficientes y la dispersión del riesgo por parte de los productores, mediante la incorporación de diferentes entidades financieras, gubernamentales y comerciales.
