Abstract

Ahead of the U. S. presidential election in November 2024, the article analyzes the challenges the future administration will face, domestically and abroad. It focuses, in particular, on the domestic economic challenges for the next three years. It examines current economic conditions, e.g., monetary policy, inflation, spending, and investment. Finally, it makes a comparative analysis based on the outcome of the elections in the two likely scenarios.
