Abstract

The information about South-South cooperation’s (SSC) operation, results, and impact is limited. Therefore, assessment and evaluation are considered the most relevant challenges for the procurement of data on the subject. This document presents an analytical framework that evaluates SSC’s operation and effectiveness. Furthermore, it explains the extent to which SSC’s theoretical elements are applied, and constitutes a first judgment of the added value provided by this modality. This analytical framework from academia is expected to contribute to the generation of evidence on SSC in different areas.
