Abstract

Introducción. En las pasadas cinco décadas la población peruana ha experimentado una significativa expansión de su nivel educativo. En 1940 más de la mitad de la población de quince o más años no tenía instrucción formal alguna; en cambio, en 1985, 86% de dicha población tenía algún grado de educación. Si en 1940 por cada persona con educación superior había sesenta sin instrucción, en 1985 dicha relación era de uno a uno...
