Comunicación entre gobierno y transnacionales. Una comparación de México y Corea

Abstract

Introducción. La interacción entre las corporaciones transnacionales(CT) y un gobierno anfitrión tiende a entrar en conflicto a causa de las diferencias en las motivaciones y los intereses de los participantes, y el poder relativo de las dos partes. A lo largo del tiempo los intereses nacionales y los corporativos percividos evolucionan y cambian, como ocurre también con la balanza del poder relativo de las dos partes. La concepción tradicional de las CT como explotadores y poderosos depredadores resulta ahora obsoleta e irrelevante. "La soberanía en peligro" ya no es una caracterización apta de la relación. Los Estados nacionales se han desarrollado y han aplicado una serie de mecanismos que los ayudan a mantener su soberanía y a ligar la CT con la metas del país...
