Análisis de la intermediación laboral del servicio público de empleo por comunidades autónomas

Abstract

In this article we analyse the job brokering role of the public employment service (PES) by Autonomous Communities. From this analysis we can point out the differences between communities and establish, therefore, where public employment offices work better or worse and if the economic crisis has any influence. The results obtained allow us to state that the presence of public services in the field of placement is very low in all communities except Extremadura and also, as a rule, in regional labour markets with better data are recorded in terms of employment rates and temporary employment rates, the market share of PES as an intermediary is lower than the Spanish average.
