Abstract

The paper deals with the problems of the valuation of the injuries caused by the oil slick (black tide). These imply various possibilities of analyses: what is to be valuated?, how and with which purpose? On one hand, there is the vast distance between the theory possibilities of valuation and the limited legislation that exists in this domain ¿as far as the recognition of the injuries ant the indemnification are concerned¿, and on the other hand, the distance between the availability of the complete statistics and the necessary information to apply certain methods. Thus, after having explained some methods, that are regularly used, we will focus on the application of the inputoutput analyses in the case of the Prestige¿s oil slick.
