Abstract

It is now the seventh anniversary of the technological groups promoted by the Diputación Foral de Bizkaia. During this seven-year period, entities such as ROBOTIKER, TELETEK, GAIKER, and BIOTEK have separately reinforced their structures with new human resources, advanced know-how and by attracting associate companies. Now , a new phase is about to begin for these groups with the completion of two-sided integration processes: TELETEK wili be incorporated in ROBOTIKER, and BIOTEK in GAIKER. As a result of this new situation, two new organizations are born: ROBOTIKER Technological Transfer Centre and GAIKER Technological Transfer Centre. Both organizations have strategies which are more in accordance with market requirements and are the response to Basque technological convergence necessity.
