Preliminary remarks on the economic strategy of the new Brazilian government

Abstract

For the first time in 21 years, Brazil has a civil government. This paper aims toanalyze the challenges to be faced by the Sarney Government and the strategies its team isproposing to tackle them. JEL Classification: D72; E60.
