The radical challenge to the dominant economy

Abstract

In this introductory paper on radical economics, we expose the main tenants ofMarxism, including the nature of Capitalism, class conflicts, economic and social changes,and possibility of change of the human condition. Then, a comparison with orthodox economicsis presented. JEL Classification: A13; A10; B51.
