Deterioration of terms of trade and unequal exchange

Abstract

This article aims to compare the convergence and difference between two nonorthodoxways of analyzing the exchange between the developed and developing countries,namely, that created around the work of Raul Prebisch and ECLAC/CEPAL, and thatbrought forward by Arghiri Emmanuel.
