Relations between the European Economic Community and Latin America in the context of a global economic crisis

Abstract

The European Community and the Latin America regions have economic andpolitical relations that should be considered in the broader context of international relationsof industrialized western countries and the developing world. To explain such dynamics, thispaper is divided into three parts: i) the integration of Latin American countries, ii) the policiesfrom the European Community in integrating with developing countries, iii) the necessaryconditions for such integration to be beneficial to both parties.
