Methodological approaches to the implementation of domestic trade in greenhouse gases emissions allowances in Ukraine

Abstract

According to the theoretical analysis of EU experience, the author analyses the alternative approaches to differentiated allocation of allowances' to the highest emitters of greenhouse gases emissions, which allows the implementation of domestic emissions trading scheme in order to promote the structural reforming of the national economy, international capital inflow, innovation development and maximize the revenues from the implementation of Kyoto flexible mechanisms.
