Abstract

The article analyzes the regulation of legal relations concerning rationalization proposals in Ukraine. German Federative Republic and People's Republic of China and some other transition economies. The authors have shown that international practice does not provide any common approach to the definition of the notion of rationalization proposal as an object of intellectual property or the state's participation in the regulation of legal relations in rationalization activities. Basing on the results of the analysis conducted and on the condition of Ukrainian economy, the authors conclude that at the present stage of market reforms in Ukraine it is necessary to elaborate and adopt a general national normative and legal act on regulation of legal relations in rationalization activities. This act should serve as a basis of legal reglamentation of rationalization activities, while on an individual enterprise, where operative rationalization activities are initiated, corresponding issues should be solved by the enterprise itself.
