Enflasyon-Faiz Orani ve Enflasyon-Doviz Kuru Ikilemi: GEG Programi Doneminde Turkiye Gercegi

Abstract

Bu makalede analiz doneminde faiz orani-enflasyon orani ile doviz kuru-enflasyon orani iliskisi hakkinda siyasi soylemler ile Merkez Bankasi soylemlerinden hangisinin gecerli oldugunun ortaya cikarilmasi amaclanmistir. Analiz donemi Guclu Ekonomiye Gecis Programini kapsayacak sekilde 2003 ile 2016 yillari arasidir. Ayrica analizler, kirilma tarihlerine uygun olacak sekilde, 2 alt donem icin de yapilmis, enflasyon-faiz orani ile enflasyondoviz kuru arasindaki nedensellik iliskisi her donem incelenmistir. Anilan iliskilerin analizi, duragan ancak dogrusal olmadigi çesitli testlerle belirlenen degiskenler için Diks-Panchenko dogrusal olmayan nedensellik testleri yardimi ile yapilmistir. Analizler sonucunda her iki soylemin de gecerli oldugu donemler oldugu gibi, sadece bir soylemin gecerli oldugu donemlerin oldugu bulgusuna ulasilmistir. Bulgular, politika yapicilara anilan ekonomik degiskenler arasindaki iliskiyi nasil ele almalari gerektigi konusunda onemli bilgiler sunmakta ve yol gosterici olacak niteliktedir.
