Turkiye Hizmet Sektorunde Yapisal Degisim ve Verimlilik

Abstract

Bu calismada, Turkiye hizmet sektorunde, yapisal degisim ve yapisal degisimin hizmet sektoru emek verimliligine etkisi ortaya konulmustur. Calismada, yapisal ayristirma analizi kullanilarak, hizmet sektoru verimlilik artisinin kaynaklari belirlenmistir. Analizlerde, TUIK’ten elde edilen 2003-2012 yillarini kapsayan NACE Rev.2 duzeyinde sanayi ve hizmet istatistiklerinden yararlanilmistir. Bulgularimiz, Turkiye hizmet sektorunden 2003-2012 doneminde verimliligin onemli derecede dustugunu gostermektedir. Yapisal degisimin hizmet sektoru toplam emek verimliligine etkisi ozellikle 2003-2008 doneminde pozitif cikmistir. Sektor ici etki her uc donemde de negatif ve cok yuksek hesaplanmistir. Sonuc olarak, bu calismanin bulgulari Turkiye hizmet sektoru verimlilik buyumesinin yapisal degisimden yeterince faydalanamadigini gostermektedir.
