Turk Bankacilik Endustrisinde Piyasa Yapisi ve Karlilik Iliskisi

Abstract

Bu calismanin amaci, 2001-2014 donemi itibariyle Turk Bankacilik endustrisinde faaliyet gosteren bankalar icin piyasa yapisi ve karlilik arasindaki iliskiyi literaturde one surulen bes hipotez ile test etmektir. Bu amaci gerceklestirmek uzere 2001- 2014 doneminde 42 bankaya ait panel verilerin kullanildigi çalismada, yapi-davranis performans, goreli-piyasa-gucu, etkin yapi: x-etkinligi, etkin yapý: olcek etkinligi ve rahat yasam hipotezleri genellestirilmis en kucuk kareler yontemiyle test edilmistir. Sonuc olarak, endustride yapi-davranis- performans, goreli-piyasa-gucu ve etkin yapi: olcek etkinligi hipotezlerinin kismen gecerli oldugu ve rahat yasam hipotezinin ise guclu bir bicimde gecerli oldugu tespit edilmistir.
